Wentworth Mansion

Brief

haydengreen were commissioned to design, supply and install an integrated fire and security solution across a single operating platform to a luxury mansion in the exclusive Wentworth estate. Set in 3.4 Acres and offering 29,000 square feet of residential accommodation, due to the elaborate internal and external design and exclusive internal finery, this set the challenge.

The installation would require some innovative solutions sympathetic with the buildings surroundings by delivering a high grade system that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Given the size of the property a key stipulation of the security system was the ability to have controlled access for resident staff and maintenance contractors.

Execution

Working in close cooperation with the property developers haydengreen designed, installed and commissioned the following systems over a 18 month period.

Access Control

A bespoke design using pin and swipe technology was implemented that allow the visibility of contractor movement and authorised access across key areas of the building.

Intruder Alarm

A key requirement of the execution was that the design of the intruder alarm would blend with the interior of the house. To achieve this many of the devices were colour matched to the interior and exterior of the property.

The system installed has the facility for Remote Control via Secure App to smart devices and the capacity for RedCare & police Response.

CCTV

The selection of a discreet cameras along with finding the most unobtrusive final camera position was critical to the design of the property. To achieve this haydengreen work very closely with the property developer in ensuring that the design requirements did not compromise the overall security requirement.

Fire Alarm

In order for the client to receive building control approval it was essential that a compliant fire alarm was installed without compromising the internal finish of the property, again this required a number of devices to be colour matched to their surroundings.

System controls integration

The systems installed are integrated via security software, this seamlessly combines full scale security integration for access control, digital video and security giving the client full visibility and control of their systems across a single operating platform.
